RARC codes (Remittance Advice Remark Codes) are supplementary explanations added to an EOB alongside a CARC denial code. RARC N1 is a General-level remark. It does not stand alone — look for the associated CARC code on the same claim line to understand the primary reason for denial or adjustment.
